
Dad faces seven charges

Bellmead, TX — One local man is sitting in jail after fleeing Bellmead Police and his nine-year-old son shortly after trying to cash a forged check
at the HEB in Bellmead.
Rickey Mack Dickens tried to cash a forged check. Alerted by store cashiers, police arrived in the parking lot to see Dickens flee and abandon his son to try and escape.
Officers apprehended Dickens and put him in the back of the police car.
Once at the station, a small bag of
crystal meth was spotted in the back seat.
In all, Dickens is facing seven charges.
