Killeen, TX — Killeen Police arrested a man Monday morning after nearly 15 hours of negotiations.
Officers were called to a domestic disturbance at a home on 3604 Tatonka Drive at 1:30pm Sunday afternoon.
The male resident of the home then barricaded himself inside. A Tactical Response Unit was called to the scene after officers learned of possible weapins inside the house.
At around 10:00pm, nearby neighbors were directed to evacutate their homes until the standoff would end.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident at 4:56am.
He was transported to the Killeen City Jail and charged with one count of Assault.
Police are not releasing his name at this time.
