BRAZOS COUNTY, Tx (KYLE) — The capital murder trial of Stanley Robertson is officially underway in Brazos County.
Robertson is accused of kidnapping and stabbing his ex-girlfriend's mother to death back in August 2010 at a College Station Walmart.
Authorities say Robertson then drove the 59-year old to Fort Worth where he dumped her body in a parking lot.
Today testimony began in the capital murder trial.
If convicted, the Brazos County district attorney will seek the death penalty.
