Central Texas — After a cloudy and cool day across Central Texas with some rain mixed in there as well, tonight and early tomorrow morning will feature more showers and storms across the area. Some of which could be strong to severe.
Scattered showers and storms are possible late tonight in Central Texas with an actual line of storms likely by around daybreak tomorrow morning or a little after. Thus it is a good idea to check the weather before heading out the door in the morning. With this line of storms, comes a risk for a few storms to be strong to severe. Damaging winds and large hail (1in or bigger) would be the main threats, but storms will also likely feature very heavy rain and frequent lightning.
Since storms will be moving from west to east, they will arrive in western areas first (before daybreak), and then pass through the rest of Central Texas through the morning hours before clearing by mid-morning or so.
