Waco, TX — A 19-year-old Waco man is in the McLennan County Jail after allegedly snatching a ladies purse and fleeing cops on foot.
Edward William Ball, 19, is accused of stealing a lady's purse at the 1400 block of Barron St. at around 10:30 Thursday night.
Two off-duty officers heard the 911 call and helped the department's helicopter in finding the man.
The officers found Ball at a house on the 600 block of North 14th St. and was found with xanax pills.
He is now facing charges of 'Theft of a Person' and 'Possession of a Controlled Substance.'
