Waco, Tx — Unemployment rates continue to decline in Central Texas.
In Waco, the jobless rate for July was reported at 6.7 percent, which is down .6 percent from the same time last year. The number of McLennan County residents with jobs has increased by 2,200 people over the last year.
Statewide, Texas has reportedly maintained a positive annual growth rate for 39 straight months.
