Temple, Texas (KWKT) — Temple Police are currently investigating a two-vehicle wreck that happened late Saturday night.
It happened at about 11:39 p.m. in the 8800 block of West Adams Avenue.
Responders with Temple Police, Temper Fire and Rescue, and Scott & White EMS arrived on scene to find a sedan had rolled onto the shoulder of the roadway with three passengers trapped inside.
A second vehicle, a silver car was upright on the roadway.
Investigation found that the sedan was traveling west on West Adams Avenue when it hit the silver car.
Temple Fire and Rescue were able to get the passengers out of the sedan and perform medical treatment.
The driver of the sedan was suffering from life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The driver, Michael Serrano, 28, of Temple, passed away a short time later at the hospital.
The other two occupants of the sedan were also taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Temple Police Traffic Unit's Accident Reconstruction Team gathered evidence at the scene and West Adams Avenue was closed until 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning for the investigation.
The crash is still under investigation at this time.
