Temple, TX — The Temple Police Department believe they may have caught the individuals responsible for burglarizing at least a dozen unlocked cars in northern Belton.
Michael Spence of Killeen, 20, and Steven Hardy of Nolanville, 22, were arrested Monday and charged with Burglary of a Vehicle after Temple PD found them in possession of stolen property.
At least 12 unlocked cars in Belton were broken into over this past weekend.
Temple officers said the light-colored SUV the two were stopped in early Monday morning matched the description of a vehicle connected to the Belton burglaries.
Both suspects are in the Bell County Jail and additional charges may be filed in the future after a full investigation has been completed.
