Baylor University endowments have slipped below $1 billion, but school officials say, the school is continuing to weather the economic storm.
They say, the university has not had to make any cost-cutting moves.
That's good news for the city of Waco, because city officials claim, the school has a $1.3 million impact on the community each year.
Another reason Baylor is not worried about the decrease in endowments...they're seeing record enrollment numbers for the fall semester this year.
