Austin, Texas — New charges have been filed against the driver who is accused of plowing into a crowd of people in Austin, during the South by Southwest Festival last month.
The Travis County District Clerk's office confirms Rashad Charjuan Owens is now charged with 20 additional charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, which is a second-degree felony. Owens has already been charged with 4 counts of capital murder.
Currently, Owens remains in jail on a three million dollar bond.
