FORT HOOD, Texas (KWKT) — Fort Hood unveiled their Resiliency Campus and Family Fit Facility to the public yesterday.
The campus is a city block-sized complex located at 31st street and Battalion avenue.
The facility is designed to help ease the stress of soldiers and their families by addressing spiritual, mental and physical needs.
"It's a need and an army effort to invest in the resilience of our force, so that we can sustain needy capabilities for the nation."- Said Major General. Anthony Lerardi.
According to the Fort Hood Sentinel, the facility has about 4,000 people visiting the campus each week. Fort Hood hopes the campus will enhance citizens and soldiers working together.
