WACO — Jamiron James was sentenced to 40 years in jail for a carjacking in March.
James had a troubled past and was involved with a group of teens that had previous acts of violence on their record. The group was lead by a Jonas Jackson.
Officials say the group was responsible for at least three robberies and stole at least two cars.
The Waco Tribune reports the 19 year old pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery.
