Future college students and their parents don't have to go too far to visit colleges this fall. College fairs are being staged in cyberspace. Parents and teens can go online and video chat with students and administrators from 300 colleges around the U.S. It's hosted by College Week Live, a website designed to help colleges connect to prospective students.
Texas A&M has their own virtual booth where people ask questions and a representative explains. Director of admissions at A&M says he hopes this will help them connect with students who wouldn't normally be able to visit the campus. The online fair will end Thursday night at 9.
