WACO -- New details tonight on the shocking incident at China Springs ISD.
A 13-year-old girl molested on the school bus by 17-year-old Ricky Guerrero, and officials say it might not be the first time Guerrero has attacked.
"That is most definitely something that we do not approve of, and we're not happy it took place. From a district standpoint, we did take swift action to discipline the student," said China Springs ISD Superintendent, Jason McCullough.
According arrest affidavits, it started Jan. 27th.
That day, Guerrero put his hands down the 13-year-old's shirt and pants sexually assaulting her.
The victim told investigators she had to crawl underneath the bus seats to escape Guerrero.
"The student actually notified the bus driver, the bus driver notified administrators on the campus. At that time, the administrators started investigating the incident to see what took place," McCullough told Fox 44.
Realizing just how serious it was, the school called police.
Investigators learned that another sexual assault might have taken place.
They say the second victim allowed Guerrero to touch her so he would leave another girl alone.
That's not all; a second arrest affidavit says Guerrero had sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old on the bus Feb. 3rd.
School officials say they are doing what they can to protect the students.
"We continue to work with parents and with students, have counselors on campus to provide the information to students of what's right and what's wrong and then to help them know how to handle those situations as well as who to report them to," explained McCullough.
When it comes to separating high school students from middle school on the bus, the district says it's just not possible with the budget.
School officials told Fox 44 there are monitors on some of the buses, but not all.
Guerrero is charged with indecency with a child, sexual contact and sexual assault of a child.
His bond is set at $150,000.
