FORT HOOD -- Fort Hood prepared Friday in case of a government shutdown.
They say the shutdown would pose hardships on military and civilian personnel as well as our military families.
Fort Hood told Fox 44 the operations and activities that are essential to safety, protection of human
life and protection of our national security are exempt from shutting down.
Activities that have not already been fully funded will need to be shut down.
That means no pay for those people.
The excepted positions would be paid later when the department received more funding, but they could be paid less.
