A new study reveals nearly 20-percent of lung cancer patients keep smoking, even though it may jeopardize their recovery.
Researchers report nearly one in five diagnosed with lung cancer continue to light up.
One in four family members or caregivers also still smoke as well.
Findings point to the need for family support, counseling, and medication to help patients or caregivers overcome their addiction.
