WACO -- Adding fuel to the fire between Pro-Lifers and Planned Parenthood, Pro-Life Waco has now moved in next door to the clinic.
"If we can be a visible presence, and we are to a certain extent every Thursday when surgical abortions are performed anyway, but this, when this became available, it was just real logical for us to acquire it," said Pro-Life Waco's Ronnie Holmes.
Pastor Holmes and the group protests Planned Parenthood every week.
However, Planned Parenthood's Felicia Goodman says their recent move takes it too far.
"It certainly feels like the war is advancing in Waco, and it makes everything else just a little harder," said Goodman.
Now Planned Parenthood is taking precautions like putting up a tarp in an effort to shield their patients and property from the Pro-Life Waco's side of the fence.
It all comes as the government slashes funding for family planning and integrates a sonogram bill for women seeking an abortion.
"My first thought was that this is just another one of the tactics used in the war on women," Goodman thought when she saw her new neighbor.
Pro-Life Waco says the move will simply put them in the right place at the right time.
"If we're here more consistently even through the week, then we felt like we could be able to be a resource for women," said Holmes.
Planned Parenthood says they hope to ignore their new neighbors and focus on finding more resources to provide health care for women.
