Killeen Police needs your help locating a woman who is wanted for Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer.
Officers were patrolling in the area of 8th St. and Dean Ave. at approximately 1:30pm on Saturday, June 11, 2011, when they located a silver 2006 Honda Civic that had been reported stolen on June 9, 2011. The officers detained the black male who was seen getting out of the driver’s side of the vehicle. The officers also located a black female who was still inside the vehicle and had moved from the passenger side of the vehicle to the driver’s side. The officers were attempting to detain her when she put the vehicle in reverse. The female backed the vehicle out of the parking lot at a high rate of speed hitting both officers and knocking one officer to the ground and dragging him for a short distance. The female suspect sped away in the stolen vehicle. Officer’s located the abandoned vehicle later that day on Lorraine Circle.
The male officer was transported to Metroplex Hospital where he was treated for injuries he received in this incident.
This case was reviewed by the Bell County District Attorney’s Office and a complaint was issued charging Tonieka Renea McIlvenna with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon on a Peace Officer. The complaint was taken to Justice of the Peace Garland Potvin’s office and he has issued a warrant for her arrest.
Tonieka Renea McIlvenna is a 51 year old light skinned black female with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5’8” tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. She also goes by the following aliases: Nieka Reneae Bailey, Nieka Burnside, Tonie Burnside and Tonieka Burnside.
