WACO -- In about two weeks, students at Speegleville Elementary will be starting the school year at a new facility.
That's because a fire severely damaged the inside of their building on August 9th, and after investigating that fire, police arrested 55-year-old Mary Lucille Gutierrez, who was the school's nurse.
She actually admitted to setting off the fire that's forcing Speegleville students to join River Valley Intermediate until repairs are complete, which could be as late as Christmas.
Gutierrez faces a second degree felony charge of arson, punishable by two to 20 years in prison.
