WACO -- It was a heart-wrenching night for Dallas Cowboy fans after losing the season opener to the New York Jets on Sunday.
The Cowboys jumped out early against the Jets, keeping a 14 point lead heading into the fourth only to give it up in the last five minutes of the game.
Fox 44 asked Central Texans what they thought about the loss and to no surprise here, they weren't very happy.
"It was heart-wrenching. I mean it was just like, the turnovers that Romo had in consecutive drives, especially when we had an opportunity to, clench the game, were just terrible," said one cowboy fan.
"If the Dallas Cowboys were a girlfriend I would have broken up with them a long time ago. And to be in that game, have that lead like we did, and as they said it was the first time in Cowboys history to blow a lead that big in the fourth quarter like, it was just so frustrating to see that," said a Baylor student.
But even with the loss, Central Texas Cowboys fans said they don't believe this loss has any implications of what's to come this season.
