COLLEGE STATION -- College Station ISD and Brazos County will soon be getting an unexpected amount of revenue from the city of College Station.
That's because the city is returning funds from an abandoned water feature project at Wolf Pen Creek and giving it back to local taxing authorities.
The approximately $2.45 million will be divided. College Station ISD will get more than $1.2 million and Brazos County and the city of College Station will both get around $600,000.
City council officials are expected to make an official vote at their next meeting on December 8th.
