WACO -- It's been a perfect month for the Baylor Bears after grabbing their fourth consecutive win this weekend against Texas Tech.
And the bears continue to make history as Saturday's 66-42 victory over Tech marks the first ever win against the Red Raiders since 1995, as well as the Bears' first, fifth Big 12 win in a single season.
And they did it with RG3 on the sidelines for the entire second half.
"You know if he throws 8 passes and completes two and we win the football game, he's going to be extremely happy, because that's just how Robert is. He's team first-- big we, little me is the way I like to put it," said head coach Art Briles.
"When I was told that I couldn't go back in, you know, a lot of the guys offense and defense told me they got it. So, it makes you feel good when, you know, your team can go out there and win a game, even if their leader, uh, can't be out there with them," said quarterback Robert Griffin III.
Griffin is listed as probable to play against Texas this Saturday at Floyd Casey Stadium.
