WACO -- Waco ISD officials have created a new online tool that allows schools to advertise any needs they have to the public.
They're calling it a wish list and anyone who wants to help out the school district, through volunteering or by donating supplies, can visit the list to check out a number of needs posted by individual campuses.
Officials say with massive budget cuts the wish list is also a great way to bring some relief to the district.
"This is just one more step in the right direction. We see a need and we can fill a need and the community is able to fill that gap for us. It's been great because the district can't provide everything," said Amber George, Community Resources Coordinator for Waco ISD.
George said the biggest need so far is clothes to fit the school's dress code.
