Investigators are looking into a fire Tuesday morning that destroyed a garage in Bryan and sent one person to the hospital.
Officials say they were called to a disturbance and a fire at the same house, located in the 2000 block of Rockwood Drive, at around 6:45 a.m.
When crews arrived, flames were shooting from the back of the garage, according to witnesses. Investigators tell KWKT, the fire was intentionally set.
It is unknown if, or how many, people were home at the time of the fire. One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The garage was damaged heavily on the inside. The house is detached and did not catch fire.
A neighbor had to temporarily evacuate her house until firefighters put out the flames.
Officials continue to investigate the scene.
