WACO -- Waco officers had to use a taser to arrest a Central Texas man who cut his wife and taunted officers.
48-year-old Henry Ibarra was arrested Saturday after police responded to a family disturbance call at his house on Old Marlin Highway.
When officers arrived Ibarra was in the front yard holding a large stick taunting and threatening the officers telling them to shoot him.
"We were able to interview the wife who was inside the home. Come to find out he was pretty intoxicated, was trying to leave, she didn't want him to drive drunk, he pulled a knife on her and ended up cutting her on her hand and her arm," said Sgt. Patrick Swanton, Waco P.D.
Ibarra is in the McLennan County Jail charged with aggravated assault.
