WACO -- Lake Waco is expected to reach eleven feet above its normal level tonight.
According to Park Rangers, the storms last night created heavy damage to many of the parks and they had to issue their emergency flood plan.
Many camping at the sites had to be relocated to avoid the flood waters.
Now Rangers are planning for what could happen later in the week.
"Kind of figuring with what we know is coming, what else we're going to have to close. We know there's already some roads underwater, there's going to be some camp sites affected, there's going to be a lot of areas affected and it's going to create some inconveniences for our customers," Elizabeth Anderson, Park Ranger for Lake Waco said.
As of right now, Park Rangers tell us they have closed Airport Park. Depending on water levels tomorrow, they could close Speegleville Park.
Right now they are not releasing any water into the Brazos River because it's still flooding too.
We'll have more on how long the parks will closed and the extent of the damage for you tomorrow.
