BRAZOS COUNTY -- A 22-year-old Bryan man leads troopers on a high-speed chase with his two-year-old son sitting on his lap.
DPS tells us the chase began late Saturday afternoon near the Waller and Grimes county line after Curtis McCoy refused to pull over.
The chase continued for 30 miles at speeds of up to 120-miles an hour.
The chase ended when troopers used spike stripes causing McCoy to crash into a concrete barrier.
Thankfully McCoy's son, who was sitting on his lap without a seat belt, was not injured.
Officials say they're now observing McCoy to see if he has a mental illness.
He could be charged with evading arrest.
