COLLEGE STATION -- If you don't live in the Bryan-College Station area, finding your way around town can be difficult.
So in an effort to clear up the confusion, the twin cities are joining forces to add more than 100 signs around the community just in time for the thousands of SEC visitors to arrive.
Finding the Bush Library or Historic Downtown Bryan isn't as simple as 1-2-3.
"I've been coming over here since I was in college and I still get turned around trying to find places," said Wayne Edwards, a Caldwell resident. "So sure, if I didn't have my little locator in my car I'd never get anywhere."
So starting this month, more than 100 tourism signs will be put up around both Bryan and College Station to help tourists find their way.
"It's a system of as people enter the community to be able to find those 11 locations from the highways," said Shannon Overby.
Overby, executive director of the Bryan-College Station Convention and Visitors Bureau says the new signage could not have come at a better time.
"With the move to the SEC, I think everyone is really expecting a huge influx of visitors and so it was just a catalyst to kind of say, 'Let's get this all in place or at least phase one in place before the SEC games this fall.'"
Wayne Edwards agrees, "The more information out you have the easier it is for people to get around."
Overby says phase one will be completed by August, just in time for the Aggie's first game.
