BRYAN -- The case against a Bryan man accused of sexually assaulting two young girls has been declared a mistrial.
41-year-old Willie Griffin Jr was on trial this week facing two counts of indecency with a child following accusations that he had touched two young girls inappropriately back in March of 2010.
But after five hours of deliberation, the jury was unable to reach a verdict and it was declared a mistrial.
Griffin still faces numerous charges in separate pending cases including aggravated assault and aggravated kidnapping.
Those trial dates have not yet been set.
