The Salvation Army needs donations of turkeys and hams, along with pumpkin & pecan pies for its annual Thanksgiving meal.

Turkeys should be delivered by Friday, November 16, to allow time for cooking. Pies can be delivered by Monday, November 19. Cooked turkeys will also be accepted and can be delivered as late as the morning of Thanksgiving. Donations can be delivered to The Community Kitchen, located at 300 Webster.

The Salvation Army will have Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22 at The Salvation Army Community Kitchen. Dinner will also be served that evening at 5:30 p.m. Volunteers are needed for both lunch and dinner to help with setting up, decorating, serving, entertaining, and cleaning.
