COLLEGE STATION -- A College Station man's quick-thinking while he watched his car being burglarized results in a thief being caught red-handed.

Police say 20-year-old Luke Garrett was caught breaking into a car near Holleman Drive Saturday night.

When officers approached Garrett he dropped a claw hammer from under his shirt.

Police also found a stolen camera, some jewelry and a baggie of marijuana in his pockets.

Garrett was arrested on similar charges of burglary of a vehicle earlier this month.
