One Central Texas Church is helping you do to some early Christmas shopping, before Thanksgiving even arrives.

The Calvary Chapel in Waco is hosting their first ever Christmas Market/ Arts and Crafts Show on Saturday. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the community is invited to stop by the Fourth Street chapel to take place in a bake sale, auctions, browsing vendor booths, and more. Santa will even make a special visit just for the kids.

Event hosts anticipate hundreds of people to stop by.

"We've had a ton of local businesses that have jumped on board to help us. Baylor University has donated tickets. We have an autographed basketball from Scott Drews, lots of restaurants and stores. We have several packages, and we're also having a bake sale," said event coordinator, Joyce Blackshear.

Admission is two dollars or canned food donations. The church will use the canned goods to start their own food pantry, in order to provide for those less fortunate. Calvary Chapel currently offers a free game room to kids from sixth to twelfth grades to come after school, free of charge, and play games and eat in a safe environment.
