Waco man arrested for September 2012 shooting during an argument

A Waco man, wanted for shooting another man during an argument over stolen car rims, is now in custody.

Corey Glen Wormley, 37, of Waco reportedly turned himself in to authorities on Wednesday for allegedly shooting 36-year-old Darin Irvin in the lower torso, in the 1100 block of Cleveland Avenue in September 2012. Irvin was taken to Hillcrest Hospital and treated for one gunshot wound.

Wormley is charged with aggravated assault and is also being held on a parole violation. No bond has been set for him.
