Waco schools receive $100,000 in grants on Thursday

The Waco ISD Education Foundation board members and donors “SURPRIZED” Waco
ISD teachers Thursday by awarding $100,000 in classroom grants.

Each year the foundation takes proposals from across the district and considers funding for creative classroom projects, field trips and professional development opportunities. To date, the foundation has awarded 352 grants to Waco ISD campuses in the amount of $1,185,554.36.

The following is a list of the 2013-2014 WISD Education Foundation Grants awarded:
